Don Shire, Founder and President of Don Shire Ministries, supports hundreds of orphans and widows in India and Haiti. They have established several orphanages in India, as well as group homes for housing and micro businesses for widows. Don Shire Ministries, through a sponsorship program, places orphans into the homes of pastors in India.

Don also serves as president of the board for Sandy Bay Lighthouse Ministries. This organization has established a home and school on the island of Roatan, Honduras, for orphaned, abandoned, abused, and underprivileged children.

Don Shire is a gifted Christian trumpeter with a passion for missions worldwide. Don offers his unique trumpet styling in church concerts, mission conferences and in evangelistic meetings throughout the United States and around the world. Don’s music is heard on Christian radio across the United States and is played on some international stations.

Don and his wife, Kathy, offer short-term mission opportunities to anyone who is led to serve. Since its inception, Don Shire Ministries has taken thousands of people on mission trips offering work projects, evangelism, teaching, children’s programs, Christian camping, and prison ministries. Several who have gone on these trips are now serving full-time on the mission field.

Steve and Brandy Siewert, Founders of Java Relief have served alongside Don on multiple mission trips. We have traveled with Don to Haiti several times and spent time with him at the Greenfield Children's Home in Roatan, Honduras where Don is president. We have also partnered with Don on missions trips to Jamaica, Belize and Mexico. We love Don and Kathy and their hearts for helping orphans and widows!
